Helix is proud to be the first commercial institution to facilitate transgender hormone therapy. Whether a patient is transitioning into a man or women, Helix is happy to help them with this transition by facilitating hormones.

The transgender hormone program costs $225 per month. The program cost will cover your ‘in-network’ medications, blood tests, doctor consults, certain mobile services and medical monitoring, with all services provided and coordinated by our medical team.

Helix faciliates transgender hormone replacement therapy with care being coordinated through our mobile services and our Helix mobile app (available on iPhone and Android devices), meaning that you can receive your treatment without ever leaving your home or office. Helix does not sell products, rather, we faciliate prescription services, based on patient-qualification.

Here’s how it works:

STEP 1: We send a mobile phlebotomist to your home or office, where we (1) record your vitals and (2) draw a blood sample.

STEP 2: Within 24 to 48 hours (usually) our blood laboratory will test your blood and report a comprehensive hormone panel on your Helix mobile app. The tests include: testosterone, estradiol, progesterone, thyroid levels, DHEA-S, cortisol, PSA, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D.

STEP 3: Our in-network lead medical practitioner will call you and decide whether you qualify for treatment (90% of our patients qualify) – and pending qualification, administer a prescription protocol for the sake of optimizing your hormone levels, particularly testosterone.

STEP 4: Our in-network mobile medical practitioner will visit your home or office, administer a physical (final step of qualification) and show you how to use your medications. Medications will be sent directly to you from one of our in-network pharmacies.

STEP 5: You are now on your way, with your monthly membership fee covering future blood tests, doctor consults and prescription refills, as we monitor your health, making sure your experience is a good one. You also get guidance on fitness and nutrition.

By subscribing to our program, Helix will facilitate the balancing of your hormones (testosterone, estrogen, progesterone) to optimal levels, according to your transitioned gender, while also monitoring you, in doing our best to prevent any side effects.

Your subscription to our hormone services will also include guidance on nutrition and fitness, which will make your testosterone therapy most effective.
